Bryce is a reporter with The Bulletin. He covers crime and public safety in Central Oregon.

His investigation into the largest COVID-19 outbreak in an Oregon prison won Best Story of the Year in 2021 from the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association. Along with a team of reporters who covered a shooting at a local Safeway, he won a number of regional journalism awards, including best breaking news reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists. He was part of a newsroom that won the overall General Excellence award from the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association in 2022. In October 2022, he was elected to the board of the Oregon chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Before joining The Bulletin, Bryce reported for the East Oregonian and interned with The Oregonian. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in 2020.

Bryce grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon. He is based in Bend.
